English Language Arts Item Writers

Write test questions aligned to the new grade Pre-K–8 Common Core Standards. Work remotely, submitting items via secure Web access from your own computer. Earn $10 for each item approved by our reviewers. We’ll provide training materials, including standards, example items, and detailed item writing guidelines. Work starts early Feb. for approx.12 weeks.

Bachelor’s degree and strong English grammar skills required; K–8 ELA teaching experience strongly preferred. In your cover letter, please describe your knowledge of, and experience in, teaching or applying principles of English grammar in one or more of these grade spans: Pre-K–1, 2–5, or 6–8.
