Wanting the name to reflect the company’s purpose — to apply scientific methods of measurement to human potential — Krug took the Latin metri, meaning “to measure” and the Greek tekhne, meaning “method or system,” and formed MetriTech. Hence, the fundamental nature of the company’s business is represented fittingly in its name.
